The kids are back to school, so it’s time for you to wash off any tension built up this summer, so you can go back to your routine feeling relaxed, refreshed and motivated.
Join us for an afternoon of relaxation to experience the blend of Yin yoga and Yoga Nidra.
Yin Yoga is a stress relieving practice with a focus on long held passive floor poses. The emphasis is on mindfulness and finding stillness, in order to let go of both mind and body tension.
Yoga Nidra is a practice that draws your attention inwards, and you learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where your body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
You will leave this workshop feeling calm and tranquil. A good practice if your mind is overactive or your energy levels are erratic or you find it challenging to switch off.
Compared to our in-person workshops, you’ll now have the luxury of space, an abundance of pillows, and a comfy bed or sofa (if you prefer it) for the long relaxation. Our students also love not having to drive after such a relaxing class – you’ll already be in your home, and wearing PJs is completely acceptable.
If you can’t make it during that time, no worries, you’ll receive the recording in your email goodie bag.
If you’re joining us, prep with:
- lots of pillows
- a belt/strap/towel or even just a piece of clothing that you can use as a strap
- be close to a wall if possible
- relaxing music
Because it’s donation based, the ticket is not refundable. If you can’t make it live, you can still watch the recording in your own time.
