Summary:

‘Plus’ classes are for those with experience

‘Mixed’ classes are for a mixed ability of beginners with no or minor restrictive health or mobility issues and those of an intermediate level

All other classes are suitable for beginners and those with mild/moderate restrictive health and mobility issues

Please check individual descriptions below for more details:

Pure Yoga – Gentle Yoga/Yoga based on Hatha Yoga with some gentle holding poses and for beginners  those with mild/moderate restrictive health and mobility issues
Pure Yoga Mixed – Based on hatha yoga with some deep holding postures. Suitable for a mixed ability of students from beginners (with no or minor restrictive health issues) to intermediate.
Pure Yoga Plus – Based on Hatha Yoga with some deep holding postures – for those with Yoga experience
Flow Yoga – Dynamic (continuous movement) based on Vinyasa flow – suitable for beginners to flow yoga with no restrictive health issues.
Flow Yoga Mixed – Dynamic (continuous movement) based on vinyasa flow – Suitable for a mixed ability of students from beginners (with no restrictive or limiting physical health issues) to intermediate.
Flow Yoga Plus – Dynamic (continuous movement) based on Vinyasa flow – for those with Yoga experience
Pure Yin/Restorative– Static deep holding postures, suitable for beginners to intermediate
Restorative Yoga– Gentle Yoga/slow, relaxing and restorative suitable for beginners and those with mild/moderate restrictive health and mobility issues (often uses props to support the body)

Pure Pilates – Gentle Pilates/Pilates for beginners those with mild/moderate restrictive health and mobility issues
Pure Pilates Plus – Dynamic (continuous movement) based on classical Pilates for those with Pilates experience
Flow Pilates Mixed – Dynamic (continuous movement) based on Stott Pilates method, suitable for a mixed ability of students from beginners (with no restrictive or limiting physical health issues) to intermediate.

Please note:  Pregnancy:  Unfortunately, the yoga classes are not suitable if you are pregnant and a beginner.  If you are an existing customer and wish to continue your classes this will be at the discretion of the teacher and subject to their training. We would recommend you attend specialist pregnancy classes designed specifically for your needs and are happy to refer you to a local provider of these classes. For Pilates classes please contact us to discuss the suitability of a class which will also be at the discretion of the teacher and subject to their training.

If you are new to the studio you may request a FREE Complimentary class as an introduction to yoga or pilates when you register online.
